Paidavaar ThioGuard (Thiophanate Methyl 70% WP) is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide formulated as a Wettable Powder (WP). It offers both preventive and curative action, providing protection against fungal diseases at various growth stages. Its systemic movement ensures rapid absorption through leaves and roots, followed by translocation throughout the plant, delivering long lasting protection including to newly emergent tissues.

Paidavaar ThioGuard is highly effective against several fungal diseases such as blights, leaf spots, anthracnose, wilt, damping off, and powdery mildew. It promotes healthier foliage, stronger plant structure, and improved yield quality, making it suitable for profitable and sustainable crop production across horticultural crops, cereals, fruits, vegetables, pulses, and cash crops.

Mode of Action: Systemic fungicide

Thiophanate Methyl exhibits systemic action via root and foliar uptake, translocating through the xylem to protect new growth. It inhibits fungal cell division by disrupting mitotic spindle formation, blocking fungal growth and reproduction. Its dual preventive and curative properties enable it to suppress early infections as well as established fungal colonies, ensuring prolonged protection of leaves, stems, and root tissues.

Recommendations: Paidavaar ThioGuard is recommended for broad spectrum fungal disease management in agricultural and horticultural crops. Its systemic, preventive, and curative characteristics support long residual protection, reduced spray intervals, and better plant vigor, ultimately contributing to improved yield and crop quality.

Recommended Crops: Suitable for papaya, apple, tomato, bottle gourd, grapes, rice, and cotton, along with other fruit, vegetable, pulse, and specialty crops.
