Paidavaar Shree Zone Insecticide - Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG

Paidavaar Shree Zone (Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG) is a water-dispersible soluble granular insecticide containing 5% active ingredient. It is widely used for the control of lepidopteran pests (caterpillars) in vegetable, fruit, cotton, pulses, tea, and other crops. It quickly stops larval feeding, reduces crop damage, and supports higher yields.

Technical Content: Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG

Mode of Action: Acts by activating glutamate-gated chloride channels in the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death. It is translaminar and stomach-acting, allowing it to move within the leaf tissue and control larvae feeding on both sides of the leaf.

Recommendations: This formulation is designed to provide rapid feeding inhibition, low residue, and effective lepidopteran control at low doses. It offers rainfastness within four hours and is considered safe for beneficial insects when used according to label directions. Its translaminar action and quick effect contribute to reduced crop damage and improved yields, making it suitable for commercial agriculture and export-oriented production.

Recommended Crops: Suitable for use on paddy, cotton, cabbage, brinjal, okra (bhindi), chilli, red gram, chickpea, grapes and tea.

Targeted Pests: Effective against bollworms, fruit and shoot borers, diamondback moth, pod borer, tea looper, and shows variable efficacy against thrips and mites depending on crop and infestation.

Dosage: General dose: 80–100 g per acre or 8–10 g per 15 liters of water
