PI Industries Keefun (Tolfenpyrad 15% EC) Insecticide

Keefun is an unique plant protection product developed in Japan and Introduced in India for protection against DBM and Sucking pests like Thrips. 

Keefun has been developed to control wide range of insect pests viz., hoppers, aphids, Diamond Back Moth, Tobacco caterpillar (Spodoptera), bugs, Scale insects, psylla, thrips, borer, leaf miner, mites etc and some fungal diseases on vegetables, fruits, field crops. 

In india, Keefun has been approved for usage on DBM and sucking pests like Thrips, Jassids, Aphids etc. Keefun inhibits egg laying, reducing egg survival and cessation of movement, feeding, lack of fecundity and eventually death of Insects.

Technical Name: Tolfenpyrad 15% EC

Mode of Action: Acts through contact and ingestion. Keefun inhibits the electron transport chain in the mitochondria of the cell, leading to the cessation of the production and supply of the energy in the cell, resulting in the death of the target pest.

Recommendation: Used to control wide range of insect pests viz., hoppers, aphids, Diamond Back Moth, Tobacco caterpillar (Spodoptera), bugs, Scale insects, psylla, thrips, borer, leaf miner, mites etc and some fungal diseases on vegetables, fruits, field crops. 

Crops: Cabbage, Okra, Cotton, Chili, Mango, Cumin, Onion

Targeted Pests: Sucking pests (Jassids, thrips, aphids, thrips) and chewing and biting pests (Diamond Back Moth or DBM), hoppers, Diamond Back Moth, Tobacco caterpillar (Spodoptera), bugs, Ssale insects, psylla, borer, leaf miner, mites.
