Bayer Regent Gold

Regent Gold is a phenyl pyrazole insecticide for foliar application. Its foliar application is highly effective against Thrips on cotton at very low doses. It can control insects that have developed resistance to all other classes of insecticides.

Technical Name: Fipronil 18.87% SC

Mode of Action: Contact and stomatch Insecticide.

Fipronil has both contact and ingestion activity, but is particularly effective by way of ingestion. An intermediate response, such as cessation of feeding, may be noted soon after treatment.

Recommendations: Effective for controlling thrips on cotton. 

Dosage: 20 ml/15 lit. of Water, 150 ml/acre

Avoid spray during flowering when honey bee activity is maximum.
