Katyayani BAXIL – Bacillus subtilis 2% AS Liquid Bio Fungicide

Katyayani BAXIL is a liquid bio fungicide formulation containing Bacillus subtilis (2% AS), a beneficial rhizobacteria known for its strong antagonistic activity against a wide range of fungal pathogens. It is designed for seed, soil, and foliar application, providing broad-spectrum protection against fungal diseases while promoting plant health.

Mode of Action: Competitive Colonization: Competes with fungal pathogens for space and nutrients in the rhizosphere and on plant surfaces. Antibiosis; produces lipopeptide antibiotics that inhibit fungal spore germination and hyphal growth. Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR); Activates plant defense mechanisms, enhancing resistance to infections

Dosage & Method of Application: 

- Soil Application: 1 - 2 lit./acre
Mix with 200 kg FYM/compost and broadcast uniformly. Apply during land preparation, sowing, or standing crop stage. Follow with light irrigation

- Foliar Spray: 5 - 10 ml/lit. of water
Spray on both sides of leaves at the initial stage of disease, Repeat at 7–10 day intervals

Usage Recommendation: Apply 2–3 applications at 7–10 day intervals for best results, Increase frequency under high disease pressure, Maintain adequate soil moisture for microbial activity, Avoid mixing with strong chemical fungicides at the same time
