Dhanuka Dhanuzine

Dhanuzine is a selective herbicide of the Chloro-triazines group. It can be used both as pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide up to 2-3 leaf stage of weeds prevents the germination of both narrow and broad leaf weeds and also kills the germinated weeds.

Technical Name: Atrazine 50% W.P

Mode of Action: Pre-emergence and early post-emergence, selective herbicide 

Recommendations: Pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide up to 2-3 leaf stage of weeds prevents the germination of both narrow and broad leaf weeds and also kills the germinated weeds.

Targeted Weeds: 

• Maize: Trianthama monogyna, Digera arvensis, Echinochloa spp. Eleusine Spp. Xantheium strumarium Brachiaria spp., Digitaria spp., Amaranthus viridis, Cleome viscose, Polygonum spp
•  Sugarcane:Protulaca oleracea, Digitaria spp., Boerhaavia diffusa, Euphorbia spp., Tribulus terrestris. 

Time of application:

• Maize: Immediately after Sowing (pre-emergence).
• Sugarcane: Pre-emergence on weed free soil.
  

Dosage: 300-400 gm/acre
