Samridhi Bio Rhizo is a soil bacterium which is fixing atmospheric nitrogen in symbiotic association with leguminous crops. Rhizobium enters the root hairs of leguminous crops, multiplies in adjoining cells, and forms pinkish root nodules containing leg haemoglobin which help in fixing the atmospheric nitrogen in forms of organic compounds.
The residual N available to subsequent non - leguminous crops is around 20-30 kg./ ha. The beneficial effect is seen as saving N through organic means.
